Lead generation for small businesses
More of the customers you already know pay.
I find businesses that look like your best customers in public data, check each one is real and reachable, load them into your CRM, and set up the outreach. You get a list you can trust and the pipeline that built it.

Why this matters
A bought list is a guess. Your sales records aren't.
Most lead lists are built for whoever buys them, so they're full of businesses that were never going to need you, and the same names go to your competitors. The better place to start is the customers who have already paid you. What do they have in common? A lead that looks like them is a repeat of something that already worked.
The goal isn't to make your prospecting faster. It's to make it happen without you, so the time you spend goes on the conversations, not the searching.
What you receive
A checked list in your CRM.
A pipeline you can run again.
Everything is yours: the leads, the database and the workflows. Run it again next quarter, or hand it to someone else.
Your customer profile
Worked out from your own sales records: which kinds of customer pay, and what they have in common. Every search starts from that.
Leads from public data
Business listings, the Australian Business Register, industry registers, and checks on each business's own website and ad tags. The sources that actually list businesses like yours.
Checked and de-duplicated
Noise filtered out, registrations confirmed where the register can, duplicates merged, and anyone who already buys from you flagged so nobody cold-calls a customer.
Loaded into your CRM
Into the CRM you already use, or into agent-crm, ranked and ready to work as a call list.
Outreach set up
First-contact messages written in your voice, sent to fewer people and the right ones. Replies and bookings tracked, so you know what's working.
A pipeline you own
The workflows and database that found the leads, documented and handed over. No lead-list subscription to keep paying.
How it works
Start small. Automate what works.
Who already pays you
We go through your customers and sales records together and agree what a good lead looks like.
Find and check
I pick the sources that list businesses like them, pull the leads, and check, filter and de-duplicate every one.
Load and reach out
The leads go into your CRM with outreach set up. Once the first round shows what converts, the pipeline is handed over to run again.
Plain code does the searching and filtering. AI reads websites and fills the gaps, where it earns its cost.
What it looks like
Three sources. Over 900 leads.
For a waste management company I work with, three public data sources turned up over 900 leads after de-duplication, and 15 of the businesses found were already paying customers: the strongest sign the profile was right.
What I learnt
Directories return airports, car parks and train stations alongside businesses, so filtering takes more than one pass. The business register confirms a business exists, not what it does. And two listings with similar names can be different businesses, so matching needs strict rules and a manual look at the edge cases.
The full write-up covers each source, what broke, and what to check before you pay anyone for leads: AI lead generation: three data sources, 900+ leads.
Common questions
Before you ask
Where do the leads come from?
Public data. Business listings from Google Places, the Australian Business Register, industry registers, and checks on a business's own website, such as which ad and tracking tags it runs. Whichever sources actually list businesses like your customers. No bought lists.
Is this cold email at volume?
No. Blasting thousands of unchecked addresses damages your name and mostly lands in spam. The point of checking every lead is that you can contact fewer people, and the right ones, in your own voice.
Where does AI come in?
Where the data runs out. Plain code handles the searching, storing, de-duplicating and filtering, because it is cheap and predictable. AI reads a business's website to fill in what the listings don't say, and judges whether a lead fits your customer profile.
Do I need to use your CRM?
No. The leads can go into the CRM you already use. If you don't have one, agent-crm is an open-source option an AI agent can work, and the leads load straight into its call queue.
Can you guarantee how many customers I'll get?
No. Leads aren't customers, and anyone who promises a conversion rate before seeing your market is guessing. What I can tell you is how many checked leads exist, how they were found, and how many already look like the customers you have.
Who owns the list and the pipeline?
You do. The leads, the database, and the workflows that found them are yours. Run it again next quarter, change the sources, or hand it to someone else. No lock-in.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many sources your market needs and how much checking the leads take. Get in touch with what you sell and who your best customers are, and I'll come back with a fixed quote.
